We are currently recruiting for a large business based in Bolton who are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant/Purchase Ledger to join the business and support the Financial Accountant in the effective management of the payables ledger. This business is a diverse and ever-changing environment, so is a good place to gain large company exposure and work across the ledger in this fast-paced organisation.
Duties include: -
- Monitor the nominal ledger coding and reconciliations
- Process a high level of invoices and purchase ledger transactions
- Bank postings and reconciliations
- Managing internal controls and timely reporting
- Manage all the supplier statements and payments
The successful candidate will have a solid background in ledger management and be able to manage a high volume of invoices, refining control and processes where necessary but working within a busy team environment. You would ideally be experienced with SAP or an integrated ERP system, alongside confident reporting within Excel and manipulating data.
