Description
Our client is well established business based in Blackpool who are looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join them due to a recent restructure of the finance team. The business has a long-standing presence in the area and a fabulous brand, and it is a great time to join them as they begin to offer a more diverse offering to their audience.
Internally they have a long serving and loyal workforce, with staff retention that is high and valued, and this role is required due to further support in finance team producing accurate reporting in line with its growth.
Duties include: -
- Assistance with the monthly management accountants ready for review at month end
- Accruals/Prepayments
- Manage the nominal ledger reconciliations and associated coding
- Daily cash posting and bank reconciliations, monitoring the cashflow
- Process the company expenses and mileage claims
- Manage the day-to-day processing of within the accounts
- Assist with streamlining the current efficiencies alongside the Management Accountant.
