Description
We are currently recruiting for a business in Bolton who require a Finance Manager to join the business and support the reporting of the statutory and financial packs within the UK and European sites. The business is a multi-site operation, and this role is pivotal in reporting across the group and improving controls and processes within operations and procurement as well as all cashflow requirements.
Duties as the Finance Manager will include:
- Assist and continually improve the production of the monthly reporting pack, including balance sheet, P&L and cashflow statements.
- Manage efficiencies and controls with the transactional processing and treasury functions.
- Provide transparency around the revenue, expenses and overall profitability.
- Develop a detailed reporting pack and month end timetable, improving controls and timeframes where necessary.
- Responsible for accurate and timely 13 week rolling cashflow forecasting, identifying weekly variances around revenue and internal stock procurement and movements.
- Development of the cost centre overhead reporting across all entities, with explanation and deeper accountability of variance budget to forecast, and internal expenditure.
- Support with the reporting of overseas Tax compliance/VAT
The role will need you to be adaptable and happy to work as a team at Board level, you will also be knowledgeable in forecasting and consolidation work, as well as have a strong audit background and statutory reporting experience. It is essential the candidate is qualified within ACA/ACCA qualification and preferably with some PQE experience.
